Transfer Station Hours:
Monday - 8 AM - 12 PM
Tuesday / Wednesday - CLOSED
Thursday - 8 AM - 3:45 PM
Fridays - 8 AM - 12 PM
Saturday- 8 AM - 3:45 PM
Sunday- 9 AM - 3:45 PM
Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday as well as all town-observed holidays. Please check the Grantham Municipal Calendar on the home page for changes to our regular hours.
Transfer Station stickers are REQUIRED to enter the Grantham Transfer Station and expire on December 31st of each year.
Please see our rules and regulations for complete information. Stickers are available at the Selectmen's office. Renters will need to provide a copy of their lease agreement. The Town of Grantham requires this due to a high number of non-residents trying to use the Transfer Station.
If you cannot make it to the Selectmen's Office during normal business hours (8 am to 4 pm), you can request your stickers be left at the Transfer Station for pick-up. Please e-mail the request to [email protected] and indicate your full name, street address and how many stickers you require.
Recycle Your Textiles and Reduce Landfill Waste
The Transfer Station now has a textile recycle bin for Purses / Bags • Ties, Scarfs & Hats, Sneakers • Dress Shoes • Heels • Flats • Sandals • Flip Flops, • Men's Clothing • Women's Clothing • Children's Clothing • Vintage Clothing • Coats / Jackets • Winter Gear, Sheets/Towels. All items must be dry and contain no odor or mold. Items do not need to be in wearable condition.
