Upcoming 2026 Elections in Grantham: State Primary and General Election
The two elections this fall occur in September and November. The State Primary occurs Tuesday, September 8, and the General Election occurs Tuesday, November 3. The polling place is located in the downstairs room at Grantham Town Hall, located at 300 Route 10 South. Polls are open 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. Registered voters should bring a government-issued photo ID to obtain a ballot and vote. Same day voter registration is available as always, though we STRONGLY encourage voters to register prior to election day. Regular Office Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Given that the town clerk works alone on Mondays, the office is closed for 15 minutes in mid-afternoon to run errands at the bank and post office. However, the exact time changes from week to week, depending on the volume of counter traffic on any given Monday. If you are needing to get in and out quickly, PLEASE call ahead (603-863-5608) to make sure the clerk is present at the time you'll be coming down.
