Second Master Plan Committee Workshop

Please join the Grantham Master Plan Committee (MPC) as it explores the relationship of the Eastman community to the larger town, the future of desired businesses, and the development of a community center in our town.

Bruce Bergeron of Jake’s (a.k.a. Rum Brook); our largest commercial landowner Drew Edmunds of Northwind Security; and Steve Schneider, the General Manager of Eastman, will all help steer a conversation regarding the future of our town over the next decade. This will be a panel format. Make sure to have your questions prepared!

This workshop is for any residents who have ever asked, “why don’t we have a coffee-shop in town?” or “how do we get a pharmacy nearby?” It is an opportunity for prospective business owners and developers to engage with residents and find out the wants and needs of our community. It is for survey respondents who want to see their opinions addressed.

As you may know, in 2025 the MPC put out a town-wide survey. The results can be found here.  The committee also held a workshop in February to discuss conservation, housing, ADUs, and transportation. The finished master plan will come out this summer and will incorporate input from these two workshops into its findings.
