Filing Period for Elected Town and School Positions

When:

Jan. 25 - Feb. 3: Filing Period for Town and Grantham School District Positions

 

Town Positions:

The Filing period for Town Offices begins Wednesday, January 25, 2017 and closes at 5pm on Friday, February 3, 2017. The Town Clerk’s office will be open on the last day of filing until 5:00pm. The following positions will be open:

  

Selectman 

3 years

Planning Board

3 years

Trustee of Trust Funds

3 years

Cemetery Trustee

3 years

Trustee of Dunbar Free Library

3 years

Treasurer

3 years

 

Applications and position descriptions are available at the Town Clerk’s office as follows:

Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Tuesday: 8:00am – 7:00pm

Wednesday: 8:00am – 7:00pm

Thursday: 8:00am – 12:00pm; 1:00 – 5:00pm

Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm; 1:00 – 4:00pm

 

School Positions:

The filing period for Grantham School District positions begins Wednesday, January 25, 2017 and closes Friday, February 3, 2017.  The School District Clerk will be available at the SAU #75 office on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM for individuals interested in picking up candidacy applications. The SAU #75 office is open daily from 8:00AM until 3:00 PM. 

The following positions will be open:

School District Moderator - 1 year position -1 position available

School District Clerk - 1 year position -1 position available 

School District Treasurer - 1 year position - 1 position available

School Board Positions - 3 year position - 1 positions available
