Building Permit Application

To properly fill out a Town of Grantham Building Permit, please answer all questions, even if it does not apply to your project.

GIS On-line Property Maps:

• Search by last name or address to get an aerial view of your property with lot lines.
• You can use the measurement tool to ensure you meet the required zoning setback requirements.
• On the left-hand side, you can overlay wetland and shoreline information. If your project is near a wetland or shoreline you will likely need approval from the State of New Hampshire, NH Department of Enviornmental Services, before a building permit can be accepted.
