Recently Rick DiDomenico and Alan Burnham requested permission to clean up Mountain View Cemetery off the Old Croydon Turnpike. The Cemetery Trustees would like to thank them for the tremendous job they did. We have included some pictures for you to be able to comprehend the extensive scope of the work they completed. The Cemetery Trustees are very appreciative of their time and energy that they expended completing this undertaking. In the words of the famous historian Lord John Dalberg-Acton “History is not a burden on the memory but an illumination of the soul.” We are grateful to Rick DiDomenico and Alan Burnham for helping Grantham maintain and preserve a piece of the Town’s history and soul.
