NFL Flag Football

Grantham Recreation is pleased to announce the addition of Flag Football to the fall season athletic line-up.

Flag Football is open to students in Kinder - 5th grades. Teams will be co-ed at all levels. The team levels will be:

Kinder & First Grade

Second & Third Grade

Fourth & Fifth Grade

Teams will practice twice a week.

Participants will wear NFL gear, improve their game, and stay active.  Additional NFL Flag registration is required at no additional fee. A link will be sent via email before the start of the season.

The season begins the week of August 31st. Practice days, dates, and times for the 2026 season will be scheduled around coach availability. Games will be scheduled around MVSL games for 3rd-5th grades.

Kinder & First Grade Practice – Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:00-6:00. Season runs 9/8 - 10/16

Second & Third Grade - Mondays 8/31 - 10/12 4:00-5:00 pm & Fridays 9/4-10/16 4:00-4:45 pm

Fourth & Fifth Grade - Tuesdays & Thursdays 9/1 - 10/22 4:00-5:00 pm

Games will be played against other NFL Flag teams from surrounding communities.

Would you like to coach? Please consider being a head or assistant coach. All coaching material and practice plans are provided by NFL Flag. You do not need any prior knowledge. The coaching manual has all the information you need for a fun season. Volunteer coaches are needed for ALL teams.
