Dog Licenses Due by April 30!

Please remember that dog licenses are due by April 30 annually.

It’s easy and convenient to renew the license by taking advantage of any of the following four services we offer.

    1. ONLINE. Renew online by clicking here.  You must enter your dog’s FULL 2021 license tag number, including the year (i.e., 21-989), and use a credit card or checking account (not a service credit union, savings, or other account).
    2. MAIL. Send your name, your dog’s name, your check, and a self-addressed stamped envelope to Town Clerk/Tax Collector, PO Box 135, Grantham NH 03753.
    3. DROP BOX. Our drop box is located to the right of the Town Office entry doors. Please include your name, your dog’s name, and proper payment.
    4. IN PERSON. Visit the Town Clerk’s office during regular business: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 - 4:00 pm. 

 

A current rabies certificate and spaying/neutering information (if applicable) must be on file at the Town Clerk’s Office prior to renewal.

To license a new dog, please bring/send the information about your dog to us.  We will need your name, physical address, mailing address, and telephone number, your dog’s name, a current rabies certificate, and veterinarian verification of altering, if appropriate.

NOTE:  If you licensed a dog in Grantham for 2024, but you no longer have the pet, please contact us to let us know by email ([email protected]) or phone (603-863-5608).
