Upcoming Closures in the Town Clerk/Tax Collector's Office

The Town Clerk/Tax Collectors Office will be closed twice this fall, both so that staff may attend conferences. We will be closed Wednesday, September 16 through Friday, September 18 for the statewide Tax Collectors conference, and Wednesday, October 7 through Friday, October 9 for the statewide Town Clerks conference. Please plan ahead to avoid both closures. All other town offices will be open normal hours.

Upcoming 2026 Election in Grantham: General Election

The General Election occurs Tuesday, November 3. The polling place is located in the downstairs room at Grantham Town Hall, located at 300 Route 10 South. Polls are open 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. Registered voters should bring a government-issued photo ID to obtain a ballot and vote. Same day voter registration is available as always, though we STRONGLY encourage voters to register prior to election day. Regular Office Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

PLEASE NOTE: Given that the town clerk works alone on Mondays, the office is closed for 15 minutes in mid-afternoon to run errands at the bank and post office. However, the exact time changes from week to week, depending on the volume of counter traffic on any given Monday. If you are needing to get in and out quickly, PLEASE call ahead (603-863-5608) to make sure the clerk is present at the time you'll be coming down.
